Pierre Lapointe

Pierre Lapointe (born May 23, 1981 in Alma, Quebec) is a Canadian singer. He has won many prizes since his debut, including six Félix in 2005 and at least one in 2006. He is well known for his voice and his obscure, esoteric lyrics, which tend to be melancholic. Another distinctive characteristic of his lyrics is their literary style.[1] Lapointe has created the persona of an egotistical dandy on stage, but he does this mostly to deflect attention from himself.[2][3]

Albums

Lapointe announced his forthcoming album, Sentiments humains, with a music video of Je reviendrai.[5] The first 15,000 copies of the album will also ship with Les Vertiges d'En Haut, a bonus disc.[6] Les Vertiges d'En Haut has also been released on iTunes later and then as a separate album, so it can be bought individually.
